What does a CSP do?
A Customer Service Point (CSP)is an extension of a bank operated by a local entrepreneur. Under the Reserve Bank of India's Business Correspondent framework, banks appoint individuals (often through a Corporate Business Correspondent) to deliver banking services in areas that are under-served by traditional branches.
Customers visit a CSP — also called a Bank Mitra, Grahak Seva Kendra or BC Point — for day-to-day banking without travelling to a far-away branch. The CSP operator earns a commission for the services they facilitate.

Who can apply for a CSP?
General requirements — exact criteria can vary by bank and Corporate BC.
- Indian citizen, 18 years or older
- Minimum 10th / 12th pass (varies by bank / Corporate BC)
- Basic computer & internet knowledge
- A shop or 100–200 sq. ft. space in a suitable location
- Computer/laptop, printer, internet connection & biometric scanner
- Valid Aadhaar, PAN and a bank account
- Clean background (no serious criminal record)

Bill Payments & Recharge
Electricity, water, mobile/DTH recharge and other utility bill payments.
